Financial Aid & Scholarships

We believe a Christ-centered education should be within reach. Unity offers many aid and scholarship opportunities to help families attend.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available at Unity Christian School for Kindergarten through 12th grades. You must have a completed application for admission on file to be considered for financial aid. Complete the financial aid application through the FACTS website.

There is a $45 processing fee to cover the cost of the application. Documents will be requested during the application process, such as income tax returns and W2 forms. Tuition assistance is awarded for one school year, and families must reapply each year. All combined tuition assistance cannot exceed 80% per family per academic year.

Financial Aid Assistance

  • The Gift of Unity Fund: all new and existing families in grades Kindergarten through 12 are eligible. It is based on financial need and available funds.
  • GOAL Scholarship Program: new students entering kindergarten or first grade, or transferring directly from public school, are eligible. GOAL is based on financial need and available funds.
  • Georgia Special Needs Scholarship: students with a current IEP or 504 transferring directly from public school may be eligible. Parents may determine their student’s eligibility and award amount at gadoe.org.

Unity Scholarships

Scholarships may require additional documentation and must have a financial aid application on file. Scholarships are awarded to students in grades Kindergarten through 12th.

  • Founders Scholarship: available to dependents of ordained pastors, associate pastors, and youth pastors in full-time church ministry. The scholarship is equal to 25% of tuition. An appeal will be required if you do not qualify for need-based aid.

The Georgia Promise Scholarship

A $6,500 scholarship for applicants who live within a GOSA lower-performing school attendance zone. Learn more at mygeorgiapromise.org to determine eligibility and to see the dates of application windows.

Other Tuition Assistance

  • Open Seat Initiative: awarded on financial need to new families only, to maintain two classes per grade level. For the 2026–2027 school year we are awarding grades 7 and 9. A financial aid application followed by an appeal is required to be considered.

Unity Discounts

Discounts do not require an application.

  • Legacy of Honor: for dependents of military veterans or active military personnel. $500 off tuition, with proof of service.
  • First Responder: for all active Police, Fire, and EMT first responders. $500 off tuition, with proof of employment.
  • New Residents: a one-time discount for families relocating to Floyd County from 50 or more miles away. K–12 students receive $1,000 off and preschool receives $250 off, with proof of prior residence.
  • Multi-Child: for families with multiple children attending Unity. Families receive 10% off the second child’s tuition, 15% off the third and 25% off the fourth. Children must be biological or legally adopted, and this cannot be combined with other tuition assistance.

Referrals

Partnering with families in shaping the hearts of their children is at the core of Unity’s mission, and no one can tell the Unity story better than those who experience it every day. We want to help you share the gift of Unity with your friends while increasing our enrollment in grades that have room for growth. Enrollment growth leads to more opportunities for your children, and to a greater Kingdom effectiveness for our school.

If a referred family enrolls, the current Unity family will receive:

  • $250 credit for referring a family in PreK3 or PreK4
  • $1,000 credit for referring a family in Kindergarten through 12th grade

The current family’s name must be written on the new family’s application for admission.
