For 28 years, Unity Christian School has been blessed with a mission to prepare students to impact the world for Christ. Now, an extraordinary opportunity stands before us: 25 acres of neighboring land that we have hoped and prayed would become available for decades. The opportunity is here. The time is now.
In Deuteronomy 1:8, God reminded the Israelites that the land was before them, but they still had to move forward and possess it. Their faith was not merely about believing, it required obedience, courage, and action. While our circumstances are different, the principle speaks powerfully to this moment at Unity: when an opportunity is placed before us, faith calls us to move.
This land represents far more than 25 acres. It represents room for students to learn, worship, compete, serve, and grow. It creates possibilities for expanded academic facilities, athletic spaces, and a campus capable of serving generations of Lions. What we secure today could shape Christian education at Unity for the next 25, 50, and even 100 years.
90 days
But we have only 90 days to turn this opportunity into reality. After waiting decades for this land to become available, our window to act is remarkably short. What has been hoped for over 25 years must now be pursued in just 90 days. This is a generational moment, one that calls for urgency, sacrifice, and extraordinary generosity from everyone who believes in the future of Christian education at Unity.
Possess the Land is therefore more than the name of a campaign. It is a call to faith, stewardship, sacrifice, and action. No single family, donor, church, or organization must carry this vision alone. Together, in 90 days, we can do what none of us could do alone: secure this land, protect Unity’s ability to grow, and prepare the ground for generations we may never meet, but whose lives can be changed because we chose to act today.
