A Faithful Presence

For the past ten years, one of the most consistent and faith-filled voices in the life of Unity Christian School has been the voice of Ms. Sis.

Week after week, students gathered in elementary chapel to hear the truth of God’s Word, worship together, and be reminded of who they are in Christ. Through every lesson, prayer, conversation, and act of encouragement, Ms. Sis faithfully poured her heart into helping students grow in their relationship with the Lord.

Her impact reaches far beyond a stage or microphone. She has spent countless hours praying over students, encouraging families, supporting faculty and staff, and serving the Unity community wherever there was a need. Through her leadership, students didn’t simply hear Bible stories, they experienced what it looks like to walk closely with Jesus.

What makes Ms. Sis so special is not only what she has done, but how she has done it. She leads with humility, joy, compassion, and unwavering faithfulness to the Lord. Her life has been a reflection of servant leadership, and her love for others has left a lasting mark on our school community.

While Ms. Sis has accepted a new opportunity to serve in another ministry within our Rome community, she leaves behind a legacy that will never be forgotten. Though we will miss seeing her each week in elementary chapel, we celebrate God’s faithfulness in her life and are excited to see how He will continue to use her in this next chapter. The seeds she has planted throughout the past decade will continue to bear fruit in the lives of our students, faculty, and families for years to come. Ms. Sis is, and always will be, a cherished part of the Unity family.
