Faithfully Investing in the Mission

Some people leave an impact through public recognition and visible accomplishments. Others leave it quietly through faithful support, steady encouragement, and a genuine belief in the mission they are helping build. For Dr. and Mrs. Morgan, their connection to Unity Christian School has always been rooted in something deeper than simply supporting a school. It has been about investing in a place where students are known, loved, challenged, and pointed toward Christ in every aspect of life.

Their journey with Unity began when Dr. Morgan was invited to serve on the Board of Directors. Through his time on the board, the Morgans gained a deeper understanding of the school’s mission and the people who make it special. As they got to know the faculty, staff, and leadership, they were drawn to the school’s unwavering commitment to Christian education and its desire to partner with families in raising the next generation.

That connection became even more meaningful as their grandchildren became students at Unity. Watching them grow through academics, athletics, Fine Arts, and everyday school life gave the Morgans a firsthand look at the impact the school was making. They fondly remember attending sporting events, performances, Grandparents Day celebrations, and countless other moments that allowed them to be part of the Unity community. More than anything, they appreciated seeing their grandchildren thrive in an environment where faith was woven into every experience.

Every class, every activity, every time we went out there, there was prayer. It was always obvious what the school stood for.

What stood out most to them was the unmistakable Christian foundation of the school. Mrs. Morgan reflected that every time they visited campus, whether for a classroom event, an athletic competition, or a Fine Arts performance, it was evident what Unity stood for. Prayer was not simply an occasional practice but a natural part of daily life. She shared that one of the things that makes Unity unique is the genuine care faculty and staff have for their students. In moments of celebration and in seasons of difficulty, teachers and administrators are willing to stop, pray with students, and walk alongside them through life’s challenges. For the Morgans, that kind of personal investment in young people is something truly special.

When asked what sets Unity apart from other schools, Dr. Morgan pointed to both the Christian convictions of the faculty and the quality of the education students receive. He believes Unity provides students with a strong academic foundation while also helping them develop the character and faith needed to lead and serve others well.

Over the years, the Morgans have faithfully supported Unity’s mission, including efforts that help make Christian education more accessible for families. Their generosity is driven by personal experience. Having attended college and medical school through scholarships, Dr. Morgan understands the life-changing opportunities that financial support can provide. Because of that, he has always felt a strong desire to help students who would benefit from a Christian education but may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend.

While they prefer to serve quietly and without recognition, their impact has been felt by countless students and families. Their support reflects a deep belief in the value of Christian education and in the mission of preparing young people to impact the world for Christ.

As they look at the many students who have graduated from Unity over the years, the Morgans are encouraged by what they see. They have watched graduates move on to excellent colleges, pursue meaningful careers, and become leaders in their communities. More importantly, they have seen students equipped with a strong foundation of faith that will guide them throughout their lives.
